Had my college interview yesterday. There is a big possibility I didn't get into the course but the lecturer was actually helpful in seemed interested in my shit. Another possible interview is apparently being arranged so I'll have to wait and see. I am a bit gutted but, hopefully something good will happen.

What is Cursed Sin?

Cursed Sin is basically a graphic novel I'm working on. It's still in the work in progress stage.


FAQ

Q – What are you hoping to achieve with the project?

A – Getting better and what I like doing. That's really the only reason. Every artist wants to get better, and I've still got a long way to go.

Q – How many characters is there going to be?

A – In my head there are many. I'm still in the process of spitballing character ideas but in my head, there are many characters.

Q – How did you come up with the project?

A – I just like coming up with stories and ideas. I wanted to make something over-the-top and cool. Cursed Sin is my opportunity to do that.

Q – How much time are you putting into the project?

A – As much as I can. When I'm not at college, at my job or playing games basically.

Q – Is Jak like a superhero? Will you ever see his face?

A – I'm not aiming to make Jak a superhero. He's just a guy doing what he thinks is right. You will see his face, but for the time being no.

Q – I take it Jak is the main character of the story?

A – Not really no. He's one of my favourite characters, but he's not essentially the main character. My plan for Cursed Sin is to make many main characters. Each character will basically have a story of their own that intertwines with other characters.

Q – When is it going to be done and what is the plan for the project? Is it an idea for a game or something else?

A – It's hard to say when the project will be finished due to my current job and college times. I've not really thought of Cursed Sin as being a game. It first started off as an idea for a graphic novel. You never know what the future will bring but right now, I'm concentrating on it being a simplistic graphic novel.

Q – Are you afraid that people are not looking forward to it or forget about it because you're taking to long on it?

A – Not really no. I mean, yes of course I wouldn't like people not liking it but I'm not trying to please anyone with this project. This is something I'm doing for myself because I like doing it. If people do like it then awesome! I know a few people that like my ideas so far. People close to me I know have a better understanding and know more about my project than people just looking at my images here on DA, and from what they have told me, they think it's good. That's enough for me to carry on the project.

Q – What type of audience are you aiming for?

A – It's definitely not going to be for kid haha! There's going to be a lot of violence, bad language and adult content.  

Q – What are you expecting with the end result?

A – Like I said, this is something I'm doing for myself. I'm working hard on the story and characters. My plan is to make it something over-the-top and awesome! I just want it to be cool and entertaining, maybe even memorable. I have a few ideas to make the graphic novel genre a bit different. For example, I'm thinking about giving the reads the opportunity to make their own choices at certain moment. Like two different outcomes at a certain moment where the reader can choice which outcome he or she prefers better. I'm still in the splitballing stage so we'
